La Nicchia farmhouse is a small vineyard making Chianti wine and ExtraVirgin Olive oil. The whole farm, including the apartments, is run by an italian couple Annunziata and Mario. Often the guests are offered free tastings of Olive Oiland Wine and even produce from the kitchen garden. La Nicchia is only 12 km from Siena, lying in the foot hills of the Chianti Classico area and the beginnings of the Senese Crete, both being interesting areas to visit.

Within an hours drive are also Arezzo, Colle Val d'Elsa, San Gimignano, Volterra, Pienza, Montepulciano, Monteriggioni and Florence.
